Елифёрова, Мария

Maria Eliferova was born in the Orenburg region in 1980. Soon her family moved to Zelenograd. A graduate of the Russian University of Humanitarian Studies, Moscow, with a research on Russian-English cultural relations, Maria Eliferova is currently completing a PhD program in history and languages. At the age of 14 she began to translate Kipling into Russian. Twice she visited England, and wrote her debut novel between visits. The author used her travels deftly in the story.
